Ako ay nabigla sa isang malungkot na balita,
Na ikaw pastor Frank ay pumanaw na,
Di ko mapigil ang pagpatak ng aking luha,
Dahil isa sa itinuturing naming ama ng EMPAC ay namaalam na.

Labis kong pinasasalamatan sa Diyos ang iyong katapatan,
Isa ka sa mga itinuturing na haligi ng UMC na aming pinagpipitagan,
Sa angkin mong talento, kahusayan at katapatan,
Maraming humanga, pinagpala at nabiyayaan.

Ang kumperensya ay animoy kulang kung wala ka,
Dahil kapag ikaw ay nangusap kalimitan problema ay solve na,
Book of descipline ay halos memoryado mo na,
Sagot sa mahihirap na tanong ay nasasagot mo ng tama.

Pasensya ka na kung minsan may pakakataon na magkaiba ating prinsepyo at paninindigan,

I am greatly saddened that Pastor Frank has died. I've known him since my daughter, Scarlett and I made our first trip to Spottswood Center in 2001. I've preached in his church and he preached in First UMC in Texarkana, Texas USA. We together brought mission teams from the Texas Annual Conference to churches in Mindanao. Mrs. Bilog and another... Frank has died. I've known him since my daughter, Scarlett and I made our first trip to Spottswood Center in 2001. I've preached in his church and he preached in First UMC in Texarkana, Texas USA. We together brought mission teams from the Texas Annual Conference to churches in Mindanao. Mrs. Bilog and another lady even took me shopping in Davao City. Frank was truly a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and a great leader in the United Methodist Church of the Philippines and the entire United Methodist Church. "Well-done thou good and faithful servant." I will pray for you, Mrs. Bilog and for your family, I am so sorry for your loss.

WHEN I AM GONE

When I leave, I don’t want you to be too sad. Stay silent, save the words, and remember the happy moments that warm the soul. When I fall asleep, let me rest. I’m gone for a reason. If you miss me, don’t say anything. In silence, look for my presence in my house, my books, my letters, and my photos, as well as in those papers that I wrote in a hurry.

Wear my shirts, my sweater, and my jacket. Walk in my shoes. My room is yours, as are my pillow and my bed. If it’s cold, wrap yourself in my scarves. Enjoy the chocolate and wine I left. Listen to that song I loved so much, use my perfume, and take care of my plants.

If they bury my body, don’t be afraid. Run free and let your tears flow. Let the wind caress your face. Feel the poetry, music, and singing. Kiss the earth, drink the water, and learn the language of the birds. If you miss me deeply, try to hide it and look for me in the children, the coffee, the radio, and those places where I used to hide. Never say the word ‘death.’ Sometimes being forgotten is sadder than dying many times and still being remembered.

When I fall asleep, bring flowers to my grave and shout with all your might that life goes on. The flame of life does not go out just because I am not there. Those who “live” never die completely; they only fall asleep momentarily. Eternal sleep is just an excuse.

When I leave, extend your hand, and you will feel my touch. You will know that I will always be by your side. And one day, with a smile, you will feel that I have returned to stay with you forever.
